„In the watery valley“ – A pearl in the schladming-dachstein region!
The amazing lake with mountains is one of the best place in the Ennstal region. The „Steirische Bodensee“ located in the Seewigtal valley 1,143 meter and can be reached from two 4,5km road, either through Gössenbergen or Petersbergen. Once you got there, with family, friends, you can walk around the lake. The „Hüttensee“, the middle lake is a great challange, but after you got there, you can take a rest and drink a beer in the Hans-Wödl-Hütte restaurant. For those who want to spend a relaxing time, they can rent a boat and enjoy the view.
It is NOT allowed to swim in the lake!
IAn ideal starting point to many hiking trails: Steirische Bodensee and its nearby is a great point for family trips and easy hikes. The way around the lake is not hard, but rather an amazing walking experiance in an Alpine landscape. You can also enjoy the beautiful waterfalls.
