Easter in Schladming

Many families celebrate Easter in a different way, they prefer to go on a trip or stay in a wellness hotel. Austria is the perfect destination!

Here you can spend a wonderful time together with your family and friends. In Styria, preserving tradition is important, and even on Great Saturday, the locals build huge bonfires, up to 10 meters high, which are lit in the evenings, and the fires on the opposite slopes offer a very special sight.

There is also a program for families on the ski slopes, especially for the little ones: on March 28, from 1 p.m., there is an Easter treasure hunt at the Hauser Kaiblingbahn mountain station, where 200 colorful chocolate eggs are hidden in the snow, and this program awaits both young and old in the pedestrian areas of Planai and Schladming.

On March 28, there is also an evening show on the Rittisberg ski slope in Ramsau am Dachstein: a parade of costumed skiers and fireworks.
