Wild waters

A beautiful mountain road leads across the peaks to the final parking lot. With the Sommercard discount, the toll is approximately 10 euros per car. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Hochwurzen, which lies around 10 km away.
Next to the impressive waterfall, a significant elevation gain must be overcome via a suspension bridge and numerous steps — similar to the Slovak Paradise. At the start of the hike, there’s a well-regarded restaurant, and at the summit, a charming mountain hut offers food and drinks.
Below the hut lies a stunning alpine lake, where many people enjoy swimming during the summer heat. Hiking trails continue along the lakeshore toward another picturesque lake. For the descent, it's more comfortable to take the paved path.
