Dachstein Glacier

20 km, 40 minutes by car, on the route Aich-Weissenbach-Ramsau am Dachstein. It is worth booking an appointment on their website due to the large number of visitors.

You can use the panoramic road for free with a summer card. The ticket you get at the gate must be validated at the machine at the top before you get off. The cable car is also free, but you have to buy a ticket for the suspension bridge to the ice cave, which costs about 10 euros per person, but it's well worth it.

A perfect place for walking and hiking on the glacier, there is the Dachstein Glacier Railway Panorama restaurant at the top.
