In Salzburg, on the cathedral square, in the courtyard of the Hohesalzburg, Hellbrunn Palace Park's special market.
It is worth visiting the slightly further St. Wolfgnag Advent market, combined with a visit to the fairytale winter landscape of the Schafbergspitze, which can be reached by an illuminated cog railway.
